 Crunchyroll has recently come up with its new membership plan. They have also announced that soon there will be an option to view content offline as well. Crunchyroll has decided to let go of its previous, Free or Premium, membership system as they will introduce a new tiered membership plan for its Premium users. The latest plan will have different prices and incentives for different tiers. Since the announcement is relatively recent, let’s go through the new membership offer briefly –

Free

Audiences who prefer to watch Crunchyroll free of cost need not worry since they can still access the advertisement-supported free viewing experience on the streaming site. But the new episodes will only be available after one week. 

Fan

 The $7.99 per month plan will give you an Ad-free experience with no hiccups, and you will also get complete access to the library of over 1000 anime titles and 30000 episodes. Not just that the latest episodes will be immediately available for the subscribers and the digital manga of Crunchyroll’s library too will be just a click away.

Mega Fan

 This plan will cost $9.99 per month and will include all the services that the Fan subscription provides. Along with that Mega Fan subscribers will have access to four simultaneous streams and a special discount of $15 once every three months on the purchase of $100. Offline viewing available for the Mega Fans.

Ultimate Fan

The Ultimate Fan subscription is the most expensive membership plan of Crunchyroll and will cost $14.99 per month. This will include all the benefits of the Mega Fan subscription and some more. There will be an option of 6 simultaneous streams unlike 4 in Mega Fan. Also, the subscriber will get an annual Ultimate Fan bag, $25 off on a purchase of more than $100 every three months and the chance to buy the Ultimate Fan merchandise exclusively available for the Ultimate Fan subscribers only. One of the most talked-about updates, that is offline viewing will also be accessible.

The new tiered membership scheme from Crunchyroll seems like a good plan as it gives the subscribers the option to pick and choose the features they prefer to have.
